This is downtown OCT (Overseas Chinese Town), where I lived last year; generally considered to be the nicest place to live in Shenzhen. It’s clean and green and quiet and pretty. Summer FlashbackI am home in Virginia for summer vacation, so it’s about time to post some pictures from here. All these were taken last summer with my old G6 and A75 (all are untouched) I’m blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful place, as well as come back every summer to be with my family and friends. So, here is a sample of life on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Brother Randy playing baseball in the front yard. Yours truly flipping/diving into Wilsonia Creek. Used the ten second self-timer. Me and mom at King’s Creek, my favorite place to go wakeboarding. Back road on the way to my parent’s house. Good friend and surfing buddy Jason.Tall ship Serenity on the bay. $30 for a 2 hour sunset cruise. Birds in the water at Assateague Island National Seashore Park. Buddy since pre-school, Brian, on the waverunner near the old WWII cargo ships off Kiptopeake State Park.Sunset over the jetty at Cape Charles Beach.A good chunk of my extended family, although not nearly all of them. Sunset at Smith Beach. Mom, Dad, and one of the cousin’s babies. There are more than I can keep track...

I will miss her energy and excitement, never-ending stories, and great sense of humor. Good luck next year...

Under Construction pt I: DarcyLet’s climb some more skyscrapers. For this one, I was walking around with Patti and Darcy, and I decided to ask some workers if we could take the elevator to the top. Just like that, they said yes. Darcy first… Hahaha, she looks really small here. It’s only because of the perspective distortion of my wide angle lens. Darcy will be coming back to China next year. I look forward to exploring more random places and taking more pictures with...
